Atarot may be as simple as a beautiful piece of hand-dyed fabric, plain or stamped with words of blessing, or the entire prayer for enwrapment can be embroidered on the atarah. The purpose of the atarah is to orient the tallit, so a small embroidered motif would also serve the function.
